Leah earned her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2013, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2014 after completing her articles at a regional firm in Kelowna.
During law school Leah volunteered with Student Legal Services, providing legal assistance to low income individuals in the Edmonton community. She was also the recipient of the 2010 Jim Muller Memorial Bursary.
Prior to law school, Leah completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia, with a major in International Relations.
Leah was born and raised in Kelowna and has strong ties to the community. Leah enjoys volunteering for causes that are close to her heart. She currently serves as Chair of the Kelowna BCSPCA Community Council, which forms part of the governance structure of the BCSPCA. She has provided pro bono legal assistance to animal welfare organizations, and helped conduct legal research that was instrumental in the creation of the National Centre for the Prosecution of Animal Cruelty (NCPAC) caselaw database. She also previously served on the Board of Directors for the Kelowna Summer Theatre Festival.
Leah advises her clients on a variety of estate planning, estate administration, and business law matters.
